Dear: Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada officer.

We understand that Ms. Kasule is facing removal from Canada on April 24, 2026, while her H&C application remains pending. We respectfully ask that her situation be given full and compassionate consideration, and that she be allowed to remain in Canada while her application is being assessed.

With dedication, Gloria has served the Canadian community as a daycare teacher where She has mentored  several Canadian children and committedly served vulnerable shelter residents across the GTA. She pays her taxes on time while independently sustaining her life in Canada without relying on the system.Given the level of establishment in Canada,Gloria will face unspeakable hardship re integrating when deported from Canada.

Since arriving in Canada, Gloria has made genuine efforts to stabilize herself and integrate. She has participated in community programs, connected with support organizations, and remained respectful and law-abiding. Those of us who have interacted with her have come to know her as a quiet, resilient individual who is doing her best under very difficult circumstances.

At present, Gloria is also dealing with significant health challenges. She has been diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and depression, and she is currently receiving care in Canada. We are deeply concerned that removal at this time would interrupt her treatment and place her in a much more vulnerable position.

In addition, Gloria has just experienced a devastating personal loss. Her Father passed away on March 29, 2026, and was laid to rest on March 31, 2026, in Uganda. This loss has had a profound emotional impact on her, especially given that she was unable to be present with her family during this difficult time. The timing of this bereavement, so close to her scheduled removal, has only intensified her distress. As members of the community, we have come together because we believe this is a moment where compassion is needed.

We respectfully ask that, in assessing her H&C application, consideration be given to:

-Her current mental health condition and ongoing treatment which will be disrupted.
-Her establishment in Canada with stable and highly needed skills.
-The significant number of Canadian residents supporting her application.
- Her significant contribution to the Canadian economy as a regular taxpayer and a law abiding resident.

-The Significant economic, social and medical hardships Gloria will face to re establish her life after deportation

-Our long time history as a compassionate society with International recognition and our commitment to humanitarian service.

We believe that Gloria deserves the opportunity to have her circumstances fully and fairly considered without the immediate pressure of removal. Canada is known for balancing fairness with compassion. We are simply asking that this same spirit be applied in Gloria’s case.

Thank you for taking the time to consider this request.
