Today, 16th of February 2023, is the deadline day for comments and objections to be submitted about the proposed development on the Birmingham Council planning portal - so thanks to everyone who has taken the trouble to do that; if you've not already done so - there's still a few hours in which to submit your objections online!

I have also submitted and mailed by post a copy of this petition, along with a list of signatures, as part of my own objection to the planning department. 

I've been in touch with National Highways as I had heard that they have requested a three month delay on any decision by the planning department to allow them more time to examine and consider:

a). The proximity of the development to the M5 boundary wall.

b). Noise.

c). Air quality.

d). Geotechnical impact.

e). Structural loading. 

f). Drainage

g). Future access for inspection and maintenance. 

As there will be at least a further three months to this stage of the process I intend to continue to promote this petition so please tell anyone you know in Quinton, (or further afield!), if they are likely to have valid concerns about the proposed development.
