There has been some confusion surrounding the closing date on which Birmingham City Council will accept comments and objections on their planning portal for this application.

The applicant letter of notification, (seen here next to the site), states that the final date on which comments can be submitted is 13th February. However, letters posted out to Quinton residents by the council have the date as the 16th February. Councillor Sam Forsyth has now established that that the later date of the 16th will be honoured. If you've signed the petition but haven't registered your objection on the planning portal - please note that you still have time! - as long as youve done this by the 16th. 

There is now also a suggestion that the planning department will delay making any initial comments on the application for a further three months, in which time they will address and consider issues raised by National Highways.
