No family should have to risk their safety simply by taking a walk in their own neighborhood. Every day, children, parents pushing strollers, runners, cyclists, and residents are forced to walk along the edge of busy Tindall Road because there is no sidewalk. It only takes one distracted driver or one tragic moment for a preventable accident to change lives forever. Our community deserves safe places to walk, exercise, and connect with neighbors without fear.

Robbinsville identified the need  for a safe pedestrian walkway over a decade ago in 2014 in the Robbinsville Pond Road Middle School Safe Routes to School Travel Plan.  The infrastructure recommendations exist; now it is time to complete it to protect children and families walking in our community.
