The Issue

I am a business owner in Warrenville, SC, and I have witnessed firsthand the negative impact that Walking Tall Ministry has had on our community. The homeless population has increased significantly, leading to a rise in theft, property damage, and other disturbances. These issues not only affect my business but also threaten the well-being and safety of all residents in the area.

Walking Tall Ministry, while aiming to help those in need, has become a hub that enables behavior that deteriorates the quality of life for everyone. The influx of homeless individuals around our properties has led to littering, with trash and needles scattered around, posing health risks to everyone. Additionally, they frequently trespass to use our resources without permission, such as water and electricity, further straining the community's resources.

The presence of these issues has caused property values to plummet. Many residents and business owners share the same concerns. We are tired of living in fear of stepping outside our homes and businesses. We should not have to endure the anxiety of an unsafe environment or the sight of our beloved community deteriorating due to the actions of a few individuals.

Our objective is not to ignore the needs of the homeless but to address them in a way that does not compromise the safety and integrity of our town. We urge local authorities to reassess the activities of Walking Tall Ministry and take necessary actions to mitigate the situation, ensuring that support for the homeless is administered in a manner that does not harm the host community.

Join us in urging city officials to take decisive action to shut down Walking Tall Ministry. Your support is crucial in making Warrenville a safe and thriving place for everyone. Please sign this petition if you share our vision for a better, more secure community. Together, we can find a solution that respects the dignity of all residents and restores peace to our town.
