I grew up in a place where the lights didn’t always stay on and dinner didn’t always come easy. There weren’t many constants in my life—except my dog. He was there through every empty fridge, every cold night, every moment I felt like the world had forgotten me. When everything else felt uncertain, he stayed. He didn’t care that I was poor. He didn’t see what I didn’t have—only that I was his. I think that’s when I learned something important: animals give everything without asking for anything, and they deserve nothing less than love and respect in return.

Unfortunately, not all animals receive the love and care they so rightfully deserve, especially those confined within Tregembo Animal Park. Reports and reviews suggest troubling conditions at this facility, ranging from unsanitary cages and inadequate medical care, to a lack of space which is crucial for an animal's physical and mental health. As concerned citizens and animal lovers, it is our responsibility to ensure these animals are treated humanely.

The problem here is not simply about inadequate care, it’s about making sure that places like Tregembo Animal Park adhere to basic humane standards. The allegations against the park cannot be ignored. Animals confined in small, inappropriate enclosures without the guarantee of proper nutrition or healthcare are suffering daily. These practices are unacceptable and must be corrected immediately.

We call on local authorities to temporarily shut down Tregembo Animal Park until it implements drastic improvements to its animal care standards. This should include regular inspections by independent animal welfare organizations, an overhaul of their current enclosures, and proper training for staff to ensure the health and safety of all animals.
