In August 2024 my car was illegally towed by Tip Towing Inc., and it has been held hostage ever since. Despite numerous attempts to reclaim my vehicle, the company has refused to release it, causing immense stress and financial hardship. This story is not unique; numerous others in Charlotte, NC, have faced similar deceptions and misconduct at the hands of Tip Towing Inc.

Tip Towing Inc. operates with a blatant disregard for consumer rights and lawful practices. According to reports, this company routinely tows vehicles without proper authorization, charges exorbitant fees, and exhibits aggressive behavior towards individuals attempting to recover their property. Such actions not only harm individuals like me but undermine trust in the local towing industry as a whole.

The North Carolina Attorney General's Office has received multiple complaints regarding the unethical practices of this towing company. No community should live in fear of exploitation by the very services that are supposed to assist in times of need.
