I am deeply concerned about the welfare of arctic foxes being kept at a local insignificant farm. These animals are native to cold, Arctic regions and are not suited to our seasonal climate. The peak temperature of the tundra where these foxes come from, is 18 degrees celcius and temperatures that high are considered a rarity.

The conditions in which they are kept can lead to severe stress, health issues, and a significantly reduced lifespan. Arctic foxes have specialised needs that cannot be met in captivity in Ireland. For the sake of their well-being and in support of animal rights, I urge you to sign this petition to shut down the zoo's arctic fox exhibit.
