The Issue

Tennova Hospital in Clarksville, TN, nearly cost my step-son his life after he was involved in a fatal accident. Despite conducting x-rays, Tennova's staff failed to detect his broken spine and broken arm. They were prepared to discharge him, deeming he was fine. Thankfully, my husband sensed something was wrong and opted for a life flight to Vanderbilt, where they identified the critical issues and performed necessary surgeries to correct them. This is more than just a personal tragedy; it is a glaring example of systemic failings in Tennova’s operations.

The issues with Tennova Hospital are well known within our community. Numerous residents share similar horror stories of misdiagnoses, negligence, and inadequate care. These are not isolated incidents but rather a recurring pattern of malpractice and oversight that endangers lives. Tennova, once a reputable facility, has deteriorated over the years and now poses a threat rather than serving as a safe haven for medical care.

Fortunately, there is hope. Plans are underway to construct new hospitals in the area, promising state-of-the-art facilities and a level of care our community deserves. By closing Tennova, we can pave the way for these new institutions to rise, ensuring quality healthcare and safety for all Clarksville residents.

Tennova Hospital's failures can no longer be overlooked. We must take action before more lives are negatively impacted. By shutting down Tennova, we will open doors for better healthcare alternatives and prevent further tragedies.

Join us in demanding accountability by supporting the closure of Tennova Hospital. Sign this petition to prioritize the health and safety of our community.
