This petition is being written on behalf of the mother of Anthony Delts and the concerned citizens who are deeply troubled by the recent incidents that have taken place at the Red Roof Inn located at 608 W Roosevelt Blvd. Monroe,NC 28110. Anthony Delts was murdered here on July 1st, 2023. There have also been reports of drug deals, robberies, stabbings and even sex trafficking of minors taking place within this hotel. These ongoing criminal activities pose a significant threat to the well-being of the community.

We cannot turn a blind eye to such egregious violations of the law and the negative impact they have on our community. The presence of illegal activities, such as murder and sex trafficking, not only compromises public safety but also tarnishes the reputation of our neighborhood and inhibits its growth and development. No mother should have to bury their child. No guest in a hotel should have to worry about getting robbed or being sex trafficked.
