Thabong Daycare has long stood as a cornerstone of our community, intended to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our children. Unfortunately, it has come to our attention that the facility is failing in its primary mission. Reports from parents, some  staff members and community members suggest that the daycare is not meeting health and safety standards, lacks adequate resources, and the administration, led by the current principal, seems disengaged from the mission of genuinely serving the community's needs.

The principle of a daycare is to offer young children a safe space to learn, grow, and interact socially. However, within the walls of Thabong Daycare, this ideal has been compromised. Numerous testimonials reveal a lack of interest from the principal in both beneficiary outcomes and the welfare of the teaching staff, which raises concerns not only about the work environment but also about the consistency of care provided to the children.

The mismanagement has resulted in questionable safety practices, and an overall atmosphere of neglect. Our children deserve better. The teachers who dedicate their time deserve a supportive and attentive administration. Most importantly, every family that entrusts their little ones to Thabong Daycare deserves peace of mind.

We demand an immediate review of the operations at Thabong Daycare and the removal or replacement of the principal with someone who holds the interests of the community, its children, and the daycare staff at heart. If these actions cannot be realized, we believe that closing the facility is in the best interests of our children’s welfare.
