Shut Down Miami Sea Aquarium, and Free Li’l and corky and Other Animals!

Shut Down Miami Sea Aquarium, and Free Li’l and corky and Other Animals!
The Issue
I, as an animal lover and advocate against cruelty, am deeply concerned about the well- being of animals held captive at the Miami Sea Aquarium,. The heartbreaking story of Lolita, also known as Tokitae has left a lasting impact on me. It is time to take action and demand the immediate removal of Li’l and any other animal isolated in this facility. Furthermore, we must call for the complete shutdown of Miami Sea Aquarium to prevent further suffering.
Lolita's story is one that highlights the inherent cruelty in keeping marine mammals confined to small tanks for entertainment purposes. For over five decades, she had been living in a cramped tank that failed to meet even minimum federal standards for size requirements. This confinement denied her the ability to engage in natural behaviors or experience life as she would in her natural habitat.
According to numerous experts and organizations such as PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), Orcas like Lolita require vast oceanic spaces where they can swim freely for miles each day. In stark contrast, her tank at Miami Seaquarium measures only 35 feet wide by 80 feet long by 20 feet deep an utterly inadequate space for such a majestic creature.
The conditions at Miami Sea Aquarium, not only impacted Lolita , Li’l and corky and any other animals physical health but also there mental well-being. Studies have shown that captivity leads to increased stress levels among marine mammals due to limited social interaction and lack of stimulation from their natural environment.
Furthermore, it is important to note that Lolita's , Li'l and corky and any other animals situation violates several laws designed specifically for animal welfare protection. The Animal Welfare Act requires facilities like Miami Seaquarium to provide adequate space, veterinary care, social interaction, and enrichment opportunities for captive animals - all aspects which are severely lacking in this case.
We cannot turn a blind eye any longer. It is our moral obligation to stand up against the exploitation and mistreatment of animals for profit. By signing this petition, we demand the immediate removal of Li’l, corky and any other animals from Miami Sea Aquarium, and the closure of this facility altogether.
Together, we can make a difference and ensure that no more animals suffer in captivity. Let us advocate for their freedom, their rights, and their happiness. Join me in urging Miami Sea Aquarium, to release LI'I, corky and any other animal back into there natural habitat where they belongs and put an end to the cruel practices perpetuated by this establishment.

Note: The facts presented in this petition are based on extensive research from reputable sources such as PETA, animal welfare organizations, scientific studies, and legal regulations pertaining to captive marine mammals.
