The untimely and avoidable demise of Michael Linscott due to alleged medical negligence at the Menifee Global Medical Center brings us to this platform.

 Michael entered the Menifee Global Medical Center on October 4th, 2024, and was expecting nothing more than a simple breathing treatment for he has had many in the past . Instead, he was unjustly sedated against his will, rendering him voiceless. Incapacitating him and leaving him never seeing another daylight . 
Throughout his time at Menifee, Michael's condition continued to worsen leaving Michael’s family with a decision to transfer Michael to another well known hospital as the family explained they were not happy with the care/ treatment their sibling was receiving among other issues with the hospital such as neglect and communication as Michael was not getting better .  Michaels family would soon find out their brother was intubated despite his wishes not to be and Michaels family assured him they would not allow him to be placed on a ventilator and the family demanded their brother to be taken off the ventilator but soon they too were ignored even when the family members were Michael’s decision maker for when he couldn’t talk for himself . Several days pass and the family is concerned that Michael has no feeding tube and requested one be put in and about this time had been around day four however despite the request it wasn’t until day ten that Michael would receive a feeding tube which left him weak and unable to fight for his own life. Tragically, during this period, his health deteriorated even further, resulting in the development of a Community Acquired Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) - Pneumonia . Michael had soon developed a high fever which would go unnoticed and untreated until a sister notified medical staff . It wasn’t until days later the family would be told that by a  doctor that they don’t know why his fevers weren’t breaking and they need to remove his IV Picc lines as they believed what had been causing the fevers . The family reached out to the doctor assigned which would be Dr Mathurs and asked Michaels future and chances of him not pulling through with Dr Mathurs replying it’s not fair to even ask that question seeing Michael being young, strong  with reassurance their brother would pull through and be just fine . Two days later the family get a call stating Michael has declined and ventilator levels going from 70 percent of ventilator breathing for him are now at 100 percent meaning Michael was no longer breathing and he was in full organ shutdown . As family rushes to be by their brothers bedside trying to figure out what went wrong . The doctor would soon come in and tell them that Michael could have one day to live but he will die today leaving the family in shock, confused and angry . As hours pass waiting and watching their brother slowly die the doctor calls a nurse asking for a family member then he tells them your brother is dying and is in severe sepsis shock and his heart was the only remaining organ that would soon give away at any time . 
Despite showing symptoms of MRSA, which could have been identified early, it was left untreated leading to Sepsis Shock - a condition that high risks of death. Eventually, he lost his battle to negligence at the tender age of 45.
  
If Michael was tended to then the nurses would have noticed he was burning up , If they would have did test in a timely manner and treated Michael with appropriate antibiotics then he would be here today . This was an act of neglect and medical malpractice leading to wrongful death of an innocent young man that had his whole life ahead of him and now our family / friends will grieve greatly for the loss of our baby brother of seven children . This is a heavy burden that is just to heavy to carry as our family try to seek Justice For Michael we are asking everyone to please sign this petition and put and end to murder in the healthcare system.  This won’t bring back Michael nor hundreds to thousands this very same corporation has murdered . We are not the only family KPC has destroyed. 
In honor of Michael, our hearts will forever be shattered beyond words and tears can describe. 

We cannot stand idle while such grievous mistakes are made in our healthcare institutes. We need to hold them accountable for their actions, for the safekeeping of the patients who trust them for their care.

This petition aims to seek justice for Michael and prevent such medical negligence from recurring. We are, therefore, calling upon relevant authorities to shut down the Menifee Global Medical Center until a thorough investigation is conducted and all responsible parties are held accountable.
