Folsom Hotel on Sutter Street in Folsom has employees that continuously physically assault customers and my goal was to get these bouncers fired but after coming forward with my experience i’ve realized this is a way bigger issue. People have come forward with stories of how the bartenders charge customers cards more than the cost of their drinks sometimes hundreds of dollars. Also, how women have been drugged/roofied. So now i do not think this place should be open to the public any longer.  I understand bouncers sometimes have to use force to remove people from bars but they use excessive force when not necessary (especially with women). I’ve seen on many occasions them using brute force when not needed. On Saturday night outside of the bar in the parking lot my friend was picked up by her head and slammed to the ground by a grown man bouncer trying to defend me because he was yelling disgusting things at me. After talking to the police the bouncer was not arrested and was let go. The police told us Folsom Hotel gets the cops called on them all the time and apparently nothing happens are are never held accountable. After my experience on Saturday i started to look at the yelp reviews and there are multiple women with pictures of their bruises from these bouncers. I cannot sit back and do nothing because they do not deserve to have jobs. They actually deserve to be arrested. The purpose of this petition is to raise awareness to the evil things going on in this establishment and make a change. Thank you.
