I am an autistic former member of Fight for Peace Academy (Newham). I was violently assaulted, and when I reported it, the management punished me and banned me to protect their sponsored fighter. I am launching this petition to demand an independent investigation, the lifting of my wrongful ban, full accountability or a shutdown of the academy.

Fight for Peace claims to use combat sports to support young people and promote peace. Behind closed doors, their management is actively protecting a bully, covering up violent behavior, and punishing the victim.
 
The Incident: I Was Violently Assaulted

An unprovoked, sustained physical assault occurred away from the gym. A sponsored fighter named Muadh who has a documented history of bullying those he views as "below" him brutally and repeatedly assaulted me using a frozen bottle as a weapon, while spraying me with freezing water. I did not initiate the conflict. I repeatedly tried to escape. After minutes of continuous, violent targeting, I used EXTREMELY MINIMAL, proportionate force in absolute self-defence solely to stop his ongoing attack and protect my own physical safety.
 
The Cover-Up: Management Retaliated Against Me

When I reported the incident, Fight for Peace management, specifically Jamie Lowe, Silvino Domingos, and Lee Hemmings systematically twisted, manipulated, and weaponised the safeguarding process to protect their sponsored asset.

They Silenced My Witnesses:

The gym completely shut down my detailed account, my clear evidence, and my independent witness statements.

They Wrongfully Put The Blame Me: 

Their investigation protected the violent instigator while imposing a permanent ban on me, the victim who acted in self-defence.

Corrupt Disciplinary Action:

Management gaslit me, demanding "evidence of sustained behaviour change" for an assault I never committed, while the actual attacker faced no equal punishment.
 
Disability Discrimination & Institutional Failures

I am autistic. Fight for Peace completely ignored their legal duties under the Equality Act. They entirely failed to account for my autism-related circumstances during the disciplinary and safeguarding process.
To make matters worse, management failed to adhere to their own timelines. Lee Hemmings explicitly admitted to me via email that they failed to get back to me within the promised timeframe, showing an absolute contempt for fairness, communication, and basic accountability.
 
What I Am Demanding:

An Immediate Independent Review: A completely unbiased external investigation of this incident of the handling of my case by Jamie Lowe, Silvino Domingos, and Lee Hemmings.

Either Reinstatement and Compensation or a Shutdown of the Academy: Immediate lifting of my wrongful ban and full compensation for the severe distress and exclusion caused to me as an autistic member.

Accountability for the Attacker: Immediate suspension and stripping of sponsorship from the fighter, Muadh, for violent assault and bullying.

Funding Review: I call on Newham Council and major funding partners to freeze financial support to Fight for Peace until a full safeguarding audit is completed.
