The GAF Mat is one of the most sought after and loved deskmats ever run, as can be seen by the many WTB posts on mechmarket. Many people are hoping for a second round of the deskmat, and don't want to pay the aftermarket price for the mat. I myself have seen sales of $100+ for a single mat. With the huge amount of publicity coming from the mat shipping out, there are now far more buyers interested in buying the mat, driving up the price even higher. The monochrome theme as well as recognizeable characters make for a beautiful cacophony of a deskmat.
