Residents of Listley Street, Bridgnorth do not have any opportunity to get any parking permits near their homes despite having two carparks in the middle of Listley Street with 128 spaces. 

Listley Street is one of the very last streets in Bridgnorth Centre that does not have any access at all to parking permits from Shropshire Council, despite challenges to the Council who say they want the carparks to be high turnover. 

There are only circa 25 properties in Listley Street that need a parking permits and this petition is to make Shropshire Council aware of the issue and also to gain support of Philip Dunne, local MP. 

The unfortunate Coronavirus Lockdown has demonstrated that when all residents could not move their cars but were allowed to park their cars on Listley Street Carparks (for anyone not just Listley Street residents) it was clear to see the massive amount of spaces available during lockdown proving there would be very little impact on parking spaces, the council would still maintain high turnover from visitors to Bridgnorth, and residents would be able to park at a reasonable permit cost in line with other Bridgnorth residents in their street. The impact of residents having parking permits would be extremely low. The picture shows part of one of the carparks on Saturday during lockdown. I have full suite of pics to back up this petition
