Honourable Prime Minister Ji
Once again, through the meeting with Union Home Secretary, the Government's attention was brought to the legitimate issues related to the well-being of the paramilitary forces. Along with this, a demand was made to appoint all the SSCGD-18 medical fit youth while 1 lakh 11 thousand posts of Sepoys still vacant. Please appointment bonanza to one lakhs above Medi-fit aspirants so that our borders can be more secure.
Sir, as you know, SenaFlag Day celebrated every year for the welfare of the army families of our country, in which crores of rupees are collected in the form of donations. But there is no such fund nor provision of Ardh-Sena Flag Day for the paramilitary forces, the dependents of the martyred families, the widows, the retired soldiers. Are the families of 20 lakh paramilitary forces without flags among whom the honorable Prime Minister celebrates Diwali every year. Would like to set up the Ardh-Sena Flag Day Fund in the name of Sardar Patel, this will be a true tribute to those Pulwama martyrs who sacrificed themselves for the protection of the country. In recently presented budget by Honorable Finance Minister Sahiba announced the opening of 100 new Sanik schools for army personnel. But for the children of the families of paramilitary forces, we have been requesting for opening of semi-military schools for years, and in this regard our Ex Para-military delegation has demanded Finance Minister Mrs. Nirmala Sitharaman to establish schools in the name of Sardar Patel. It is expected that the government will consider the above legitimate demand and announce in budget session.
Sir, the CPC canteen of the paramilitary forces has come down to the market rate due to GST today. On the local appeal from your own Vocal pe Local, firstly the paramilitary forces took the initiative to adopt indigenous products in CPC. Would like a 50% GST rebate on CPC canteens on the of Army CSD canteen so that paramilitary families can also get cheaper household goods at market rates.in this connection a memorandum also submitted to Honourable HMO & FMO.
In the opening ceremony of the foundation stone of CRPF's new building, the Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah made a historic announcement to the security forces to spend 100 days with their families. Sir, the CISF jawans are vigilantly monitoring metros, airports, ports, nuclear homes, power plants and important industrial institutions across the country. You will be surprised to know that the soldiers get only 30 days leave yearly and due to less leave, often they are forced to take serious steps even up to suicide. Then a serious question arises that how will the government provide 100 days holiday, first the soldiers should be given 60 days holiday. For this, a survey should be conducted among the jawans whether the jawan wants to take encash in lieu of leave or 60 days annual leave.
As far as the health facilities are concerned, the paramilitary forces and their families get treatment under CGHS dispensaries, but when there is no near dispensary upto 100-150 km, then where to go for treatment. Therefore, we have been equally demanding from the Central government that a survey should be conducted to expand dispensaries where a large number of families of paramilitary forces reside. Hon'ble Prime Minister is an important and long-standing demand that the formation of Ardh Sainik Welfare Board in the each states and giving Ex-man status. Sir you governed almost all the states, so paramilitary welfare boards should be set up in all states for the benefit of paramilitary Forces Chokidar.
The Prime Minister's Office has been requested to meet hundreds of times even through various District Collectorate, District Magistrate,s but till date has not been called. Sir, the desire to meet continues even today, even though we have been waiting for 6 years. We have to discuss many welfare issues of Paramiltary with you. We talking about the legitimate issues of the security forces among whom our popular Prime Minister celebrates Diwali every year.
