Ex Para-military veterans meeting with Honourable Governor

A four members Ex-CAPF delegation under the leadership of Ranbir Singh General Secretary met today His Excellency Governor Shri Satyapal Malik in Raj Bhawan Shillong in connection with Establishment of Ardh Sainik Welfare Board in Meghalaya for Paramilitary families, Ex-men status at par army and other genuine issues were discussed and submitted a memorandum in this regard.

According to Press Release issued by Ranbir Singh, General Secretary, the meeting was in a cordial atmosphere and His Excellency Governor praised the role of Paramilitary/CAPF
for their devotion to duties such as Internal/External security, Election duty and other maintenance
of Law-and-Order duties throughout the country even in the States. The role of these Forces without caring for their own lives was praised by the Governor especially in natural calamities viz. flood, earth quake, militants/extremists attack etc., saved several persons lives and nation is ever grateful to these Forces. His Excellency Governor agreed for the genuine issues of the Confederation and assured that he will send the Memorandum to the Honorable Chief Minister for consideration. Jayendra Singh Rana president, ex Inspector saiffudin shiblee and Anil Kumar participated in the meeting with the Honourable Governor.
