The iconic and influential show The L Word, was happily rebooted. At the time it came out, it was amazing to have representation of LGBTQ on television. Luckily in today's more educated society, we know some of the old terminology was offensive. With the new re-boot there is a more inclusive & diverse cast. However it was said they can't bring the character Carmen de la Pica Morales, back onto the show as it would be problematic for an Iranian actress to be playing a Mexican-American. However this show has had many story lines, that don't have a resolution. Such as  Jenny's "death", when they brushed it under the rug as if it was nothing. So I cannot see as to why they can't make a story line where Carmen has been gone all these years trying to find her biological family since she finds out she's adopted, or switched at birth. Get creative Showtime c'mon. I carry a Shane & Carmen picture in my wallet. When I first came to terms with my sexuality, I binged The L Word. That relationship touched me in a way I can't explain. And the actress is more than happy to be a part of it! Give the fans what they want!
