Our city direly needs this resource. We are in the midst of an addiction epidemic and there is an increased demand for services. The Matthew Perry House Ottawa is poised to be a game-changer, addressing this need and filling a crucial gap in our community's wellbeing. The proposal that the Matthew Perry Foundation of Canada is putting forward would offer our city a unique resource for people recovering from and learning to live with addiction, with an aim to reduce relapse in the first year after treatment by a considerable measure.
