I know an abundance of audiences dislike the final cut of Scary Movie 5 due to the rushed reshoot process, and absence of Anna Faris and Regina Hall.

There are fans who have been curious about the originally shot footage of Scary Movie 5 before reshoots were done. According to Ashley Tisdale, reshoots took up more than 60 percent of the final cut. Before reshoots were done, a trailer was released, and it was filled with footage that was not in the final cut. In fact, a MAJORITY wasn't in the deleted scenes section of the DVD.

The deleted scenes section of the DVD and Blu Ray only had 8 deleted scenes out of ALL of them. There were many more scenes than that.

I know Malcolm Lee was credited as director of the final cut although David Zucker directed the reshoots and ADR sessions. Malcolm Lee directed the original footage. David Zucker even promised Dr. Phil guest Donna Harrison a role in the film, and her part didn't make it.

It would be great if the original cut or the rest of the lost deleted scenes of this movie were at least released on Digital HD whenever possible, or on DVD as soon as the pandemic officially calms down. It wouldn't be right if those scenes went to waste.

So the fans who are interested, I repeat, interested, would love to see the original cut or the rest of the lost footage of Scary Movie 5. #ReleaseTheMalcolmLeeCut
