A group of five friends at the University of Cincinnati have started an initiative to bring awareness and aid to those who lack a basic necessity that so many of us take for granted. While many of us use shoes as an expression of taste and style, there are those that need shoes for survival and education. For example, in Kenya, the first and foremost requirement for a child to attend school is a pair of shoes. For this reason and this reason alone many children are denied an education. 

We are hoping to help fight this problem through the micro lending support of KIVA www.kiva.org 

We have profiled several entrepreneurs in Kenya that are seeking financial assistance for there local shoe shops.
