The seat for ​Compton City Council District 1 was declared vacant on March 22, 2022. The Council has decided to fill the seat via an application process rather than by special election. I've decided to put my hat in the race and apply for the seat. The decision was a no-brainer and now I need your help!

Because the Council will be voting on who will fill the seat from the list of applicants, a petition is not required. However, I'd like to begin my potential tenure with the community's support. I'm asking for my fellow Compton residents to support my efforts by signing this petition to encourage the Council to vote for me.

My vision for Compton to become the great City we deserve will be realized through transparency and integrity. Helping Compton progress forward is my mission. I hope to achieve success for the City by:

• Enhancing safety for our residents
• Bringing more business, housing, and educational opportunities to our City
• Pushing for the much needed infrastructure improvements

I was raised in District 1 and it has been my mission to improve our City in any way possible. I've volunteered all over the City, tutored our children, participated in cleaning up the City. Building a new elementary school in District 1 was just the beginning for me. With your help, I'll be able to do more!
