The Issue
- Dear Sheriff Blakeslee,
On December 20, 2020 in Ione, on Pickett Road, Mike Galloway shot and killed a beloved family pet with no warning and no remorse. This dog was not aggressive or a menace in any way to humans, livestock or any other creature. We, the citizens of Ione and surrounding areas ask that this animal hater be charged or at the very least held responsible in some way, legally and morally, as he basically murdered a member of our family in cold blood. Yes, Mae Mae was a beloved family member and we ask for action, immediately and without reservation.
