We are very close to handing this petition in to Sheffield City Council, so we need your help. We are requesting the retention of the Rustlings Road Trees, for the ecosystem goods and services that they provide, the monetary value of which can be assessed with the use of software such as i-Tree. If we had a Street Tree Strategy, current Highways specification could be modified to preserve Sheffield’s Green Infrastructure, as illustrated by these valuable, large crowned trees.
