My son Shawn C. Alston went missing on Oct.18,2012 from the Garyburg N.C.area.He was only 5 minutes from home an was walking distance. He lefted keys wallet an his truck at home.He had on black coat an cargo shorts tan in color.Sneakers on feet. He told me at 7:30 I will be right back,not a word or anything, it has been 3 years as of Oct.18,2012. There have been Searches by family members also byThe Sheriff Office helicopter search ponds were dragged. At the time they had no dogs to search, but learn later someone brought in a K-9 dog later.There had been a lot of prank calls an there have been a lot of people want to know what you know. We have had numerous of prayer Vigil,an Rallies for Justice,also our own March for Justice. We had Rally for Justice for the Missing an the Murdered Families of Northampton an Halifax Cty. An Hertford County,with Rev. William Barber president of the Raleigh Area. We are praying for change we are praying for every family who is suffering an who will not settle for less.
