The issue is commissioner Stomberg of Shasta County Superior Court is taking cases that have been open for years to other judges and flipping them. She is also allowing new cases to be opened to hide the old cases. She is not looking at past history and evidence. This is an issue as it is effecting children negatively.

         She has taken a case opened for over 8 years where mom had sole physical and sole legal custody due to abandonment on father's part and flipped it giving dad custody with Mom no overnights. In this case CPS was called on mom by people dad had call and mom proved that all the CPS allegations were unfounded and that nothing happened in her home even with that evidence and evidence of father's abandonment, history of domestic violence and history of drug and alcohol abuse she still gave him everything. She even went against the referrees recommendation that stated dad would not follow court orders. So she gave someone custody of a child they have only met a handful of times in 13 years and stripped mom who raised her on her own of pretty much everything.

            In another case dad had custody of child and mom paid support dad made twice what mom made and judge ordered her to pay hundreds a month in support. Even told Mom that she needed to quit going to school to further education so she could work full time.

             The goal of this petition is to have her removed from overseeing family law cases. She has worked in the family law facilitator office but never been in charge of the cases. She should not be making decisions that affect kids without more knowledge for one and for two without looking at past history of a case.
