We are asking that Spirit Halloween consider using the current temporary location in Panama City, FL, on a year round basis with a colocated Spencers Gift store.

The present location is utilizing roughly 2/3 of the square footage with a lot of space for social distancing  (wide aisles). Prior to hurricane Michael in October of 2018, the local mall also had a Spencers shop. Colocating the two would serve the purpose of helping restore the local economy with the Spirit store being an in-store and distro center for the region and a Spencer's store would bring other people in who do not wish to travel to the store in Pier Park on Panama City Beach. 

Spirit is a great resource for cosplay events and at the end of February each year, there is sci fi convention in Pensacola, FL. Having a local store and a regional distro center would allow people to get hard to find items quicker.

The local economy took a major beating from Hurricane Michael and this would allow more recovery with a permanent store in the area.
