My name is Tweetie, and I want to share the tragedy of my passing to prevent other beloved pets from falling victim to similar circumstances. My mommy called me 'sweetie cutely', and I spent 16 wonderful years bringing joy and love to our household. On a fateful day, something avoidable and tragic ended our time together, and my loss has left a profound void in the hearts of my family.

Our hope is to create widespread awareness about the dangers that lurk, often unnoticed, around household environments, parks, and other pet habitats. We want every pet owner, every 'paw-parent', to recognize potential threats and be proactive in preventing disasters. Whether it’s household chemicals, open spaces without adequate safety measures, or overlooked health hazards – all these need to be highlighted so that no other family has to endure the loss of a cherished companion like my family did.

Pet safety is a community effort. Volumes of research highlight various threats pets face, yet many remain oblivious to these dangers until it’s too late. A joint study by pet welfare organizations reports over 250,000 preventable pet fatalities annually in the U.S. alone, with main causes including poisoning, accidents, and neglect. Our message is urgent: don't let ignorance be the reason for another unnecessary goodbye.

I am appealing to platforms that have the power to amplify this message. Mothership and similar platforms can help propel this cause, sending out safety checks, tips, and reminders to animal lovers worldwide. Today, through sharing my story, I aspire to prevent this pain from reaching other heartbroken families.

As you are reading this i am NOT ALIVE, I was enjoying the best of my life with my Mommy, Brother, Grandma & family.
Im pampered & treated like a CHILD.
Mommy is shattered, distorted and devastated in a state of shock, I wish I can give headbutts & embrace my Mama.

WITH A HEAVY HEART, TEARS & UNBEARABLE PAIN, i want to create Awareness to ALL pawparents and animal lovers, so that NO OTHER PETS OR ANIMALS BECOME VICTIMISED like me.

Please be cautious during your VET VISITS.
NEVER ALLOW THE VET TO ADMINISTER INJECTION OR ANY MEDICATIONS based on generic treatment.

Mama grieving over my sudden unjustified TRAGIC LOSS.
Im 16 years old boy, i developed very mild skin allergy(2-5%) at corner of my mouth ( refer to photos) 
Mama & Grandma fetched me to nearby Vet ( which was chosen as my regular Vet was closed).

Overall MY DEATH was caused by : -

 Vets
- Mistreatment
- Misdiagnosis 
- Malpractices

A very mild skin allergy turned into FATAL DEATH triggered by my  1st Vet, who failed to run a skin swap cytology test prior to administration of medications.
- i was given Convenia Injection & Revolution Plus at the SAME TIME.
( Revolution plus was totally unnecessary, the 2 medications had cross interaction causing severe adverse skin inflammation) 
- look at my Before and After VET visit photos
- I became disfigured.
- My whole body was burning in itchiness & all my furs peeled off.
- my RAW skin was so painful.

**Mama's desperate updates & calls to the 1st Vet was ignored / avoided on severe acute skin flare up and inflammation immediately after their Mistreatment. My family members were extremely distraught.
The Vet venue is near Jalan Kelulut, Seletar Hills) 
( Vet seemed guilt & refused to take accountability)

**Subsequently, 2nd opinion was seeked with 2nd Vet, sadly again history repeated with this Vet. I was misdiagnosed with general wrong medication worsening my condition. And this Vet deprived me of fluid theraphy despite my blood work showing high dehydration.
Vet did an Ultrasound & claimed there's fluid in lungs. But FAILED to provide scan images upon request.
When their medications worsen me & when Mama gave feedback on their staff attitude who slammed down the phone, they did Cessation of services.
(narrow escape to evade) 
Their venue is near Serangoon Gardens. 

** Without a choice Mama was crying feeling helpless seeing me declining, so 3rd Vet visit was made to reverse my condition in desperation. At this time  i was deteriorating rapidly due to adverse systemic inflammation & reaction. I was doing my best to fight with my immune system almost 1 month, but i became skeletal and lost appetite. Mama was crying & tried her best to heal me.

Ultrasound findings at 3rd Vet in Hougang,  Contradicted to 2nd Vet.

ONLY 3rd Vet had the initiative & professionslism with proper code of ethics in Veterinary Practices.  
- She did a SKIN SWAP CYTOLOGY TEST to check my ALLERGY type.
- Vet also confirmed with proof of Ultrasound video scans that there was NO fluids in lungs.
So imagine the dilemma & ordeals Mama & i went through without IV fluid despite badly dehydrated due to wrong medication like 
"Fireball" all over my body.

- being deprived of fluids for 10 days.

- without proper skin swap cytology test,

- medications dispensed & injections given anyhow without proper diagnosis to ensure that the ANIMAL is NOT resistant or allergy.

- never practice due diligence taking into consideration an animal's medications history/ allergies / age & other factors.

** By the time the 3rd Vet's Skin swap cytology report results come out, i collapsed at home as i became emaciated with severe inflammation conquering my little body beyond my control.
Though Mama forced feed me & stayed next to me for sleepless nights without going to work in despair.

** After i collapsed,  RAR ( Royal Animal Rescue Ambulatory Services) was contacted.
( another WORST shocking encounter)

- Prices were not told upfront or were transparent. $780 Invoice was raised. 
( I wonder was i transported in Ambulance or flight, ridiculous) 

- Mama's decision to rush me to a 24 hours Hospital at Whitley Road, was deviated by RAR as they suggested another clinic at Bukit Timah Road, assuring that they have Collaboration & 
" ON CALL VET" will be there soon when we reach there in ambulance.

- Mama & family members were devastated upon arrival about 5.30am as the clinic was officially CLOSED, but there were only 2 Night shift Nurses working as they had a dog hospitalised.

They put me on IV drip & left inside Oxygen cubicle without any further treatment.
RAR left & Mama with family members were stranded at this clinic without an "ON CALL VET" for almost 5 hours.
I could hear Mama asking the nurses several times, when the ON CALL VET will be coming, the nurses kept saying 
" coming soon"..BUT VET only arrived during normal operational hours in the morning.
No explanations given by neither RAR or the clinic.

- Nurses who attended to me, charged separately a Fee under 
" SENIOR VET CONSULTATION Fees of $336.00 
(This is Misrepresentation,  Mama & family members were appalled & wondered what's happening in Singapore's Veterinary Practices) 

- Treatment / Blood Test started only after 11am

- Plasma Transfer was suggested based on poor prognosis in blood test, procedure done at 5pm ( obviously my prognosis would have worsen, as i was left without Vet's Treatment for 5-6 hours) 

- Plasma Transfer only cost a bomb, but no improvement.  Eventually there were Yellow Patches all over my body. ( refer to my pictures) 

- I vomitted about 2am, after they gave some injections via IV ( so called supplements) i never vomitted all these while. After vomitting I had open mouth breathing, sadly again THERE WAS NO VET, only 2 Night Nurses Resuscitated me.

I PASSED ON there without a VET. 
As the Vet went home by 10pm without even suggesting to transfer me to another Hospital where there will be 24hrs supervision by a Vet, despite knowing that i am critical.

- Though i was 16 years Senior, i was healthy, enjoying every moment of my life with my Mama, Brother and family, playing, jumping actively & i never fail to make Mama laugh with my cute funny moves & Head butt's...
16 years i was Mama's shadow, the true, genuine happiness that enlightened my life & Mama's..i was treated like a CHILD in the Family..IM GONE IN THE WORST GRUESOME WAY..
What harm i did to die in such a horrible way. 

Mama spent almost $8000 in total to treat me & heal me, but she's REGRETTING her lifetime for fetching me to Vet.

Death is inevitable, but to die unreasonably due to Vets negligence is unacceptable.

As i hear Mama calling my name & crying loudly, I told 
" Mummy i cannot take  this Unbearable torture & pain anymore, why did you fetch me to VET??? they ONLY made me WORST, I will Miss you so much, grandma & my dearest brother who will be waiting for me at home, please let my brother know that I LOVE him so much & will MISS him beyond words, brother & YOU will feel LONELY in my absence..im sorry till we MEET AGAIN, i LOVE YOU LOADS MAMA & THANKS FOR GIVING ME THE PRIORITY OVER everything else in your life Mama.Hope we can be together again in our next life, I PRAY to be your CHILD..
My precious moments with you & brother have been destroyed in less than a month..I know my DEATH will BREAK YOU TO PIECES as our BONDING cannot be expressed in words.
I cannot breathe Mama, my heart-beat is racing to crash & shutdown.

❌❌PLEASE QUESTION VETS BEFORE THEY ADMINISTER INJECTION OR MEDICINES. 

❌❌GO FOR TABLETS OR ORAL SUSPENSION MEDICATIONS instead of Injections, even if VET compel as they LAST in body for 30-60days..AND if any allergic adverse reaction happens it CANNOT BE REVERSED OR STOPPED.

❌❌ REQUEST FOR SCAN OR X-RAY IMAGES if Vets GIVE FALSE ALARM by  Diagnosing & Depriving Fluids, if not report to Nparks.

❌❌ NEVER ALLOW AMBULATORY services to compel/ manipulate or diversify to their choice of Vets ( ON CALL VET) if your pet is critical 

⛔We animals are NOT statistics, we are precious furbabies to our Owners, to some Vets we are just another record in their file.
With sky rocking HIGH Vet fees, negligence, non-accountability.

Hope  Nparks and Upcoming Animal Council will enhance Veterinary SOP & Regulations to ensure NO Violation & Unjustification is done to any Pets or Animals!!
