Shane Warne - Give your $3 million "I'm A Celeb" pay to the sick kids you promised to help
The issue
Right now while Shane Warne is in the jungle earning $3 million for going on a TV show, his Foundation to help sick kids is being closed and investigated – for lavish events, huge expenses and poker tournaments.
I'm a tradie and I've donated to the kids' charities Warne's Foundation was registered to support. It was a small amount - just what I could afford - but it got to where it was supposed to go - the sick kids.
I believe Warney’s a good bloke. A cricket legend, his Foundation was meant to help Australia's sickest kids. I admire that. But it lost its way.
Media revelations show that Shane Warne Foundation was paying his brother $80k to run the Foundation. In the same year, the Foundation donated just $54k to its charities. His assistant "won" a Mercedes in a raffle. Just 16c out of every dollar actually went to sick kids.
That’s why I reckon Shane Warne should donate his $3 million TV fee back to the sick children he was supposed to be supporting through his Foundation.
Warne says he entered the jungle to reveal “the real him.” Then he discussed his wealth, addiction to money and 20 car basement garage full of Lamborghinis.
Let's see the real you now, Warney – honour your promises to sick kids by donating your TV fee to help the maximum number of kids possible.
