This school year has been rough with all the uncertainty COVID-19 has caused. Even so, we have pushed through the difficulties, determined to complete our education. 
SFA has, in many ways, supported and greatly helped us in this endeavor. At the same time though, SFA has hampered us with overzealous anti-Covid guidelines. One of these is denying the use of library study rooms to students.
Study rooms are vital to students. Out of courtesy to other students, we aren’t able to fully discuss projects in the main library, do oral drills with other students, or the variety of other tasks library study rooms are so essential for. We understand that there are safety concerns because of COVID, but there are, in our opinion, simple effective actions we and SFA can take to have the library study rooms open without drastically increasing the risk of spreading COVID-19.
