Separate Musk and State!

The Issue

Elon Musk, a billionaire corporate leader, has obtained a position as a Special Government Employee (SGE)—a role that allows him to shape public policy while running businesses that receive billions in federal contracts. This conflict of interest threatens democracy, transparency, and fair policymaking.

Our Demand
Remove Musk's SGE status to prevent him from using government influence for personal and corporate gain.
Investigate the network of non-SGE individuals who enabled Musk to influence the Treasury and public policy in ways that benefit his businesses.

Why This Matters
Unchecked Power: Musk's companies—Tesla, SpaceX, Starlink, and others—depend on government funding. His influence could shape regulations, contracts, and policies to favor corporate interests over public good.
Democratic Integrity: The government should serve the people, not billionaires who use privileged access for unfair advantages.
Precedent for Accountability: If we permit one individual this level of influence, what prevents other ultra-wealthy elites from following suit?

Our Plan to Take Action

✔ Mass Petition Drive: Build public support to demand action.

✔ Media Mobilization: Partner with journalists and influencers to spread awareness.

✔ Direct Political Pressure: Call on elected leaders like Rep. Jamie Raskin, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Sen. Bernie Sanders, Rep. Jasmine Crockett, Sen. Chris Murphy, and the AFL-CIO to push for congressional action.

✔ Coordinated 2-Hour Walkout: A symbolic but powerful stand against corporate interference in our democracy.

This movement aligns with the "Stop the Steal Act"—a critical piece of legislation aimed at protecting public policy from elite manipulation.
