As we approach the end of 2020, communities are recovering from the crippling effects of Covid-19, and NUS High School is no exception. Due to various health concerns posed by Covid-19, safety precautions and measures are needed to prevent the spread of the virus within the community/during events.

As the graduating class of 2020, we have sacrificed much to meet the standards set by MOH as well as our school. However, we wish for certain compromises to be made on the most important night of our High School life, Graduation Dinner (aka Prom). 

We believe that safety measures can still be upheld even under the two compromises listed below, and we sincerely hope that the Senior Management of NUS High School would listen to our demands.

• Regarding guidelines that specify participants need to strictly be in groups of 5, we understand the rationale and do not contest this. However, we would like groups consisting of students from different classes to be accepted.
• Regarding guideline to restrict dining segment to the canteen, we would like you to reconsider as this has no impact on the health and safety of the students, and would greatly improve the experience of the event. (Approved!)
