Send Brooks to Paris!

Send Brooks to Paris!
The Issue
To know Robert Brooks is to know love, kindness, selflessness, motivation, and a community leader. These are just few words to describe him. If you already know him, then you know him as “Scooby”. Or “Coach”. And that could never be described in words. His actions have spoken volumes not only within his household, but in the community that he serves and refuses to leave despite the many opportunities he’s had in much larger cities. He has given back to hundreds of kids. Providing them with more than just a “workout”. He has been a safe place, a father figure, a friend, a mentor. He has been able to receive numerous scholarships for kids that have come under his program. Beginning with his own children, Brooks household of 5 kids each received full athletic scholarships resulting in a total of 7 degrees, multiple certifications, a Navy member, and a professional athlete.
Roberts dream of giving his kids an opportunity to attend college have been exceeded beyond his imagine. His daughter Taliyah Brooks has been blessed to travel the world to display a skill set that she learned from her father in the small town of a Wichita Falls Texas. With many NCAA accolades, she can now add USA World Team member as well as fastest women’s pentathlete hurdler in American history! Taliyah has a shot at making the 2024 Paris Olympic team. Creating not just family history, but history for the city of Wichita Falls.
Taliyah’s dream is to be able to have all of her family in attendance at the Olympic stadium. Unfortunately, the laws of Texas have restricted her father Robert Brooks from being able to receive a passport to follow his daughter across the world to chase her dreams. This petition has been created to gather as many signatures as possible to present to state officials in an effort to get Brooks a passport before the 2024 Olympic Games.
If you know his story, his families story, you know how much he deserves this.
Please consider signing if you have ever been touched by the Brooks family. And if you believe Robert truly deserves this once in a lifetime opportunity.
