My son passed away on 7/22/19 from Fentanyl poisoning. The man he was with waited 20 minutes to call 911. As we well know every second counts with an overdose, I'm sure by far I'm not the only one who has faced this crisis. Since there isn't any official law in place, there is nothing that can be done to hold this man responsible for not contacting 911 in a reasonable amount of time that could have easily saved my son's life. I shouldn't have had to bury my son, instead he should be alive and hopefully in a rehab today working towards his recovery. The Good Samaritan Act is a good start, though this needs to be addressed as it is now a BIG loop-hole and hasn't been taken care of. Please, vote for this act to be approved - if it saves 1 life it's worth it. It is too late for my son's life, but not too late for others.
