On May 13, 2016, the Obama administration sent a letter to all public schools saying that they must allow members of one biological sex who identify as transgender to use the - same showers, locker rooms, and restrooms and “housing accommodations” as member of the opposite sex, or risk losing federal funding.

The “guidance” specifically allows anyone to merely say they identify as the opposite sex and they are then free to walk into what should be a very safe and private place for our children. The very instant someone tells the school district that they identify as a member of the opposite sex, the school must comply, with no further conditions.

We want to make this very clear......This is not about Hate and is not about discrimination but rather the safety of our children. It has already been proven that those with malicious intent will exploit this extreme policy and their free access to our children must be stopped immediately.

The legal experts in the Departments of Justice and Education say this is based on Title IX, but no federal law says anything about “gender identity.”  President Obama is simply rewriting the law from the Oval Office and threatening to let public schools go bankrupt if they refuse to put young people at risk.
