Doctors in Iran are being arrested for saving lives.

In recent months, multiple Iranian physicians have been detained, prosecuted, and threatened simply for treating injured civilians and upholding their medical oath. Some now face severe charges, solitary confinement, torture, and even the risk of execution.

We are Iranian physicians currently practicing in the Sultanate of Oman. As members of the medical community in the region, we cannot remain silent while our colleagues are imprisoned for fulfilling their ethical duty.

From Oman, a nation known for diplomacy and balance, we appeal for urgent protection of our colleagues.

Targeting doctors for providing medical care is a direct violation of medical neutrality and fundamental human rights. When medicine becomes a crime, no society is safe.
