Senator McCain - This is written with respect for your tenure and your service. But we, the undersigned, while understanding the sensitivity of your health matter, believe that the people of the Great State of Arizona need and deserve the best, most responsive, most able-bodied representation in the Senate at this crucial juncture. We want you to retire now, with grace and dignity and allow our Governor Doug Ducey to appoint an interim Senator. We ask that you take your remaining and precious time and devote it fully to your family. We ask that you put the needs of the People of Arizona first. We ask that you retire immediately from public life. We thank you. We respect you. But your condition may soon not allow you to even think clearly enough to understand that you are unable to fulfill the duties required of a United States Senator. We sign with respect - but we also sign with conviction that Arizona needs an interim Senator immediately.
