Whereas; Blizzard being owned by Microsoft would mean the games would be less likely to ever become playable on Macs (and maybe even Hearthstone would no longer be, disenfranchising so many players, YouTuber, pro and casual alike) which is class discrimination because of the price differential between the two brands

Whereas; a similar argument could apply to the consoles with Microsoft owning XBox and as there's even more variety in those than computers and even more Blizzard games available on other consoles (even Overwatch on the Nintendo Switch now, imagine how Nintendo feels about this), potential exclusivity this might bring would hurt even more players than just "one game won't be on Macs anymore and the rest will never be" that might occur for those who play on computers

Whereas; even if this isn't technically enough of a monopoly for the government to get involved it certainly looks enough like one to raise enough eyebrows that people might call for boycotts of anything Microsoft (a far bigger company than even Activision Blizzard)

Whereas; on the topic of monopolies, this kind of corporate consolidation of this geeky an industry would be seen as a sign almost as much as the metaverse does to some geeks of "you'd better start believing in cyberpunk dystopias, you're in one" and is antithetical to the message of a lot of Blizzard's games (and doesn't Blizzard being owned by someone else break the immersion of Blizzard World in the OW universe)

Whereas; the thing a company like Blizzard facing so much sexual harassment scandal they had to mess with the name of an Overwatch hero needs to save face is not being bought by the guy a lot of the people already mad at Blizzard think put 5G/microchips in the vaccines to decrease the surplus population

Whereas; this would be even poorer for their reputation on merely a game level as once this buy was announced everyone started making cynical jokes that their favorite Blizzard franchises would get ruined in the same way their least favorite games Microsoft had something to do with got ruined so people wouldn't have faith in any of these companies

Therefore; if Microsoft has acquired Activision Blizzard (if they haven't they shouldn't) they should sell it back and let it be its own thing like it's been for years
