Every era of Sonic's cartoon presence on TV, even the short-lived and maligned Sonic Underground, has been marked with an episode titled "The Last Resort." That is, until Sonic Boom ended after its second season without such an episode. Story Editor Alan Denton has since acknowledged that this was an unintentional oversight, and that he wishes he could correct this mistake.

There is but one way forward: To bring Alan and the rest of the Sonic Boom crew back together for One Last Job. Greenlight "Sonic Boom: The Last Resort" as a feature length cartoon movie. They can be trusted to figure out the screenplay after it's greenlit. It's not like it can be worse than Sonic Underground.
