In accordance with Iowa Code 279.8B, which outlines the process for eligible voters within the school to petition their local school board, the undersigned petitioners believe that the Superintendent has acted inefficiently, incompetently, and is a detriment to the Interstate 35 Community Public School system and we request that she resign or be let go effective immediately.

Not only have we have lost numerous qualified and experienced staff and administrators, the community has a loss of confidence in the current Superintendent to move our district in a direction that supports and ensures the safety and education of our children. The culture that has been created since Ms. Dentlinger's arrival into our school district does not reflect the values of the Interstate 35 Community.

Ms. Dentlinger has failed in her duties to provide transparent and open communication with staff and the community when it comes to serious issues regarding the safety of students and staff. This has been addressed with the board on several occasions with no action being taken. It is for these reasons that this community is asking for the board to dismiss Ms. Dentlinger or that she resigns of her own accord.
