Philip Michael, a candidate in the Student Representative Council (SRC) elections at The University of Namibia, Rundu Campus, was recently disqualified without transparency or a fair process. This action has caused considerable concern among students and members of the university community. We urge the SRC Electoral Body to revisit this decision and provide clear explanations to promote transparency and maintain students' trust. The principle at stake is fundamental - everyone's right to participate in our democratic processes must be respected.
