A timely question, why has the US not sought to cooperate with Cuba to bring aid to Haiti?   Cuba's medical teams have provided aid to hurricane, tsunami, and earthquake victims in recent years, supported by American air and sea transport and medical supplies. Doing the same for Haiti could be the start of the closer relations that the US and Cuba have favored since President Obama took office.  I urge the U.S. to help bring Cuban medical teams to Haiti during the current crisis, now.
