Seek Community Support for Prisoner Release

Seek Community Support for Prisoner Release
The Issue
My name is Ki’Noski Wilson. I’m a native of Franklinton, LA, born and raised. I’m reaching out to my community because at this moment I find myself entangled in a situation that puts my life and my freedom at stake. I am trying to be release from an institution that has my wings clipped for the pass 12yrs. I am reaching out to you, the community, to help raise the voice that could sway my circumstances.
According to the Prison Policy Initiative, there are over 2.3 million people in the United States who are in same or similar circumstances to mine, incarcerated under a system that often prioritizes punishment over rehabilitation and justice. The weight of those 2.3 million stories rests on society, on each of our consciences. Today, I am using my story to represent those voiceless millions.
This request is not only about me but a call for change, fairness, and understanding. Would my story be another statistic, another person failed by a system that should protect and serve, or can we together forge a different path forward?
I am asking for your support, to make sure that my story is heard, and my plea for freedom answered. Please sign this petition and let us create a wave of change that starts right here in our community in Franklinton, LA. Thank you.
