The 34th Reigate (Meadvale) Scout Group wants to purchase the Meadvale Village Hall and the Scout Hut located on Somerset Road. This hall has been a significant part of our local history for many years, hosting a brilliant nursery, Scout meetings, events such as residents meetings, martial arts classes, yoga, guitar classes and more. Our aim is to preserve this invaluable asset for the nursery, the scouts, and wider community use.

By keeping the hall and hut in community use, we can ensure they continue to serve as a hub for Meadvale residents.  We need your support in this endeavour to keep this part of our shared history alive, and to provide a positive future for the site for many years to come.

With your support of this petition we can show organisations such as the National Lottery and the government's Community Ownership Fund how important it is to our community to retain Meadvale Village Hall for scouting, the nursery, and widening it's uses as a community hall in future. This will help us with our applications for funding to secure this vital community resource.
