Secure Kaleidoscope Arts Foundation's Forever Home!

Secure Kaleidoscope Arts Foundation's Forever Home!
The Issue
Kaleidoscope Arts Foundation is in urgent need of a new home. A beacon of creativity in Bermuda, Kaleidoscope serves over 1,000 children annually through public school partnerships, camps, and workshops focused on hands-on learning and self-expression.
At Kaleidoscope we work to equip our children with critical thinking skills, emotional intelligence and unique perspectives. These are the very skills needed to navigate the complexities of the modern world, yet they are at risk if Kaleidoscope cannot find a new home.
Finding a new home isn't just about maintaining a physical space; it's about preserving a community, a legacy, and a vision for future generations.
In August, a formal proposal for the adaptive use of Montpelier, located at 15 Middle Road in Devonshire—on the corner of the Arboretum—was sent to the government. The grade-3 listed building has sat empty for many years. It would provide both the indoor and outdoor space that Kaleidoscope requires. The governments current plans are to turn the property into a private rental. Our hope is to secure a change of use to allow Montpelier to be turned into a community centre that would benefit children, artists, families, and teachers for generations to come.
We need your support. Please sign this petition to ensure that your voice is heard. Together, we can encourage the government to reopen the use of Montpelier to public consultation, so that it can be used not to benefit just one family, but many, and keep the arts alive and accessible to all in Bermuda.
We appreciate you taking the time to sign this petition. If you are able to contribute to our fundraising efforts, please consider donating to our Home Is Where the Art Is campaign to help fund the renovations of our new forever home. You can read more about this campaign and Kaleidoscope's search for a new home in this recent Royal Gazette article.
