Petition to secure Coach Gray's job:
       
             This atrocity not only affects Coach Gray but also the parents of the students and the students  she has coached.  This has affected us as parents because we know the extent of what she goes through to help the kids on and off the court. This has affected the students because they see her not only as a coach but also as a protector and an advisor, someone they can talk to when they have doubt about talking to anyone else. Coach Gray is a mentor. She is also a mother figure and a strong African American woman.  Our future team is not stake because depending on who they try to bring in may or may not disrupt and dissolve the team altogether. The school system may end up bringing in a coach that will cause some or most of the team to quit or go to another school, which means future to meet the standards of potential future championships. We need to act now to get Stephanie Gray reinstated before it is too late and we end up with a coach that the girls and we regret having.
