Our former teacher, Mrs. Popovic, has worked at Gowan Science Academy for three years and has shown her dedication to us, and her current students. As our science teacher, she never failed to make us feel heard and appreciated. She has always been more than just a teacher, she was always a friend and role model to students around her, and still is.

Despite her continuous help to Gowan, it's upsetting that Mrs. Popovic doesn't have a classroom of her own. While Mrs. Popovic is still an amazing teacher despite what shes been given, she deserves to have more than a bare bones cart to wheel into other teacher's classes.

Gowan has shown their access to money multiple times, building a new cafeteria for the whole school, an outdoor classroom to use despite the continuous hot weather throughout the year, an outdoor library and most recently, an innovation lab designed for all teachers (who already have classrooms of their own)

I just want Mrs. Popovic to be treated like any other teacher at Gowan since she has taught and helped kids there for years on end now. It's saddening to see a school that claims to be a science academy neglect the needs and basic necessities one of their science teachers need, despite their access to resources and funding.
