Save grassroots live music venues.

Save grassroots live music venues.
The Issue
Live music is the lifeblood of Manchester's cultural heritage.
Gorilla and the Deaf Institute have elevated new bands and musicians, national and international, into great success.
I remember dancing under a giant disco ball dancing to my favourite songs and meeting the musicians after their performance. These are not only personally enriching experiences for people who live in and visit Manchester but enable to meet new people and build friendships. These are community spaces that combats the loneliness and isolation so many young people face. Music and dancing serves as a therapeutic activity that can help mitigate referrals to mental health services. Now is the time to save the venues that facilitate intimate musical experiences, not to lose them to large corporate initiatives.
Help new musicians grow and experience the crowds of Manchester's people.
THE MANCHESTER WE KNOW AND LOVE IS BORN FROM ITS MUSIC. SAVE IT!
